German envoy visits AWKUM
MARDAN: German Ambassador Ina Lepel has said that Abdul Wali Khan University (AWKUM) has achieved an unprecedented success within a short span of time. She appreciated the standard of education at the AWKUM and expressed the desire for joint ventures in the fields of research at various levels, said a press release.
She assured the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali about signing memorandum of understanding (MOU) in various fields. It was also considered that seminars and workshops would be organised in collaboration and cooperation between AWKUM and the German universities. The ambassador visited various departments, Central Library and Administration block. She took keen interest in well-equipped and modern library, where she met PhD scholars. The German ambassador also visited the ancient ruins at Takhtbhai.
