Man crushed to death by train
LAHORE
A 27-year-old man was crushed to death by a train in Gulberg police limits on Wednesday.
Waqas of SevenUp Phatak was crossing a railway line when a train hit him. As a result, he died on the spot.
SUICIDE: A 23-year-old woman committed suicide over a domestic dispute in the Sundar police limits. Police arrested the victim’s husband and brother-in-laws over their alleged involvement in the incident. Rukhsana Bibi of Faisalabad contracted love marriage with one Abid. The couple settled in Sundar village. The woman had a baby girl. Police said the victim’s in-laws used to taunt her over her love marriage. On the day of incident, she locked herself in a room and hanged herself with a fan. A police official said it was second marriage of Abid. He had two kids from his first wife.
