KU, Italian consulate sign cooperation agreement

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on Friday between the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Karachi, and the Italian Consulate Karachi at a ceremony held at the KU Vice Chancellor Secretariat.
Under the agreement, the Italian Language and Cultural Centre will be associated with the Faculty of Social Sciences, KU, and will be sponsored by the Embassy of Italy in Islamabad.
An Italian language certificate course, comprising two semesters, would be offered and the dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences will be responsible for all the academic and administrative arrangements.
The Consulate of Italy in Karachi will provide a teachers and classes will be conducted twice a week for six credit hours.
