Islamabad: On the invitation letter from The New York Academy of Sciences for an event, young enterprising IGCSE student Urooba Ahmed Fatima of Flagship Roots Millennium Campus, I-9/3, got the opportunity to meet Bill and Melinda Gates and participate in a question and answer session regarding the greatest challenges facing society today, says a press release.
This was a rare opportunity to speak directly with Bill and Melinda and to meet students matching her credentials from around the world. Her trip to the US was fully endorsed by Chief Executive Roots Millennium Schools (RMS) Faisal Mushtaq. On Urooba’s return, she was welcomed by RMS faculty and management at a ceremony hosted by Chief Executive Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq.
Urooba was overwhelmed by the warm welcome and shared her experience with her college fellows and friends and emphasised “Dreams can come true if we have high aspirations and we work hard to achieve them.”
