Four alleged Abbas Town bombing suspects held: police

KARACHI: The CID police have arrested four suspects, allegedly involved in Abbas Town bombing, in Mowach Goth area of the city recovering weapons and explosives from their possession.


This was stated by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Fayyaz Leghari in a press briefing along with other police officials at Garden

Police Lines here on Monday.


He said that the accused were identified as Saif-ur-Rehman, Muhammad Ali alias Hakim, Abdul Ghani alias Zubair and Zahid Gul

alias Hamza.


Accused Saif-ur-Rehman belongs to Tehrik -e-Taliban while the other three have link with banned organization Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.


The IGP further stated that weapons, hand grenades and explosive material were also recovered from them.


A team of experienced police officers is carrying out further interrogation, the IGP added. (APP)
