2 cops among 5 shot dead in Karachi

KARACHI: Five more people including two policemen were killed in Karachi on Thursday in the ongoing wave of targeted killings, Geo News reported.

 

DSP Sohrab Goth Qamar Ahmed said that bodies of two policemen were recovered near a fuel station on the Super High Way that links the Karachi with Hyderabad. He said that both the officials were targeted when they were on their way back home. The deceased were identified as Kamran and Asghar .

 

An unidentified man was killed in Ghaziabad area of Orangi Town. Families of three men, who were shot dead in PIB colony on Wednesday, received their bodies. The slain were identified as Javed Khan, Ziauddin and Ashfaq Ahmed.

 

Police said a body was found in North Nazimabad area of Karachi.

 

A police constable was shot and injured outside a religious place in Orangi Town 10 area. Tow other people were injured in Cattle Colony and Machar Colony areas of the city in separate incidents of firing.
