QUETTA: Unknown gunmen on Tuesday injured Deputy Director Schools Abrar Ahmed at Shawakshah Road, Geo News reported.
According to sources, gunmen ambushed Abrar Ahmed’s vehicle when he reached his office at Education Directorate at Shawakshah Road.
The deputy director got injured as a result of firing, however, Abrar managed to injure one attacker by running over him with his car. The injured attacker later succumbed to his injuries.
Abrar Ahmed was shifted to CMH while the body of the attacker was sent to Civil Hospital.
Police reached the incident site after getting the information and recovered two pistols from the culprits while further investigation is underway.
