Farewell party for DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf
LAHORE: CCPO Capt Amin Wains (retd) paid rich tributes to DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf for his services to Lahore Police.
He appreciated him during a farewell party at the CCPO Office Thursday. DIG Security Dr Moeen Masood, DIG Investigation Ch Sultan, SSP Admin Rana Ayaz Saleem, Chief Traffic Officer Rai Ijaz Ahmad, SSP Operations Muntazir Mehdi, SSP Investigation Ghulam Mubashir Mekin, all SPs of operations and investigations, SP Security Lahore, SP Mobiles, SP CRO, SP Safe City Authority, SP HQ, SP High Court, SP CIA, SP Anti-Riot and SP AVLS were present on the occasion. The CCPO said Dr Haider Ashraf played a vital role in changing the ‘Thana culture’. Credit of Dolphin Squad, OPS Rooms, SMS service 8330, PRU, Anti-Riot Unit, Manawa flats, construction of new police stations, police training and public schools, Dolphin headquarters, state-of- the-art hospital and other projects goes to him.
Rescue 1122 marking Int’l Firefighters
Day today: Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) is marking International Firefighters’ Day across Punjab to pay homage to the martyred firefighters in Pakistan.
The main ceremony will be organised at the PCSIR, adjacent to Rescue 1122’s central station, main Ferozepur Road at 10.30 am today. Provincial Minister for Disaster Management Ijaz Ahmad Achlana and others will attend the ceremony whereas Punjab Emergency Service Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer will be the host.
