LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Wednesday slammed PTI Chairman Imran Khan for constantly lying about the Multan Metro Bus project. They knew when and where those joining Imran had held meetings, he remarked.

Talking to media outside Punjab Assembly, Rana Sana said Imran was working on the principle of repeating a lie so many times that it could seemed truth. He said Faisal Subhan had no connection with Metro Bus Project of Multan and was neither a civil officer nor a contractor. He said the allegations levelled against Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif by Imran regarding the Multan Metro Bus project were baseless. Rana Sana said Imran had also been levelling allegations against PML-N leadership in the past while standing on the container but nothing was proved. To a query about Abid Boxer, the law minister said Imran Khan had previously accused Javed Sadiq of corruption and was currently alleging that the former Punjab Police official was wanted in 250 cases. But in reality, he added, the record shows that only 12 cases had been registered against Abid.

Responding to a question about Chaudhry Nisar, the provincial law minister said Nisar he couldn’t attend the PML-N Central Working Committee meeting due to some personal reasons, but added Shahbaz could woo Nisar.
