PSL: Patel to join Islamabad United

ISLAMABAD: England all-rounder Samit Patel will join Islamabad United for HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL III) 2018.Patel comes in as a replacement for Sri Lankan all-rounder Asela Gunaratne who will miss the season due to a national team training camp. Patel brings a wealth of experience to the United squad with 214 T20 games, 4174 career runs and 178 wickets. England fast bowler David Willey has had to pull out due to a pre-season county tour. Willey’s compatriot Steve Finn, who was earlier drafted as a partial replacement for Willey, will now be available for the full tournament.
