Jabl-e-Ali leaks will expose big names: Ali Zaidi
KARACHI: Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi has said that upcoming ‘Jabl-e-Ali leaks’ will expose big names.
In an interview on Tuesday, he said the leaks would bring to the fore which companies are working in Dubai’s free zone, who are their shareholders and how much wealth of Pakistan had been stashed there.
He said the joint investigation team (JIT) report, completed by Pakistani investigating agencies recently had also disclosed many things. The probe into the scam is such a big deep hole which had no ending, he said adding that once the country starts getting information from Dubai, you would be surprised to know what our minister had been doing there. He said still there are such persons who are laundering money there. The minister said he was waiting for Jabl-e-Ali leaks reaching the press in Pakistan. These leaks would show which companies are working at Jabl-e-Ali free zone, which BVI owns them, and who’s the owner of the shareholder company of Ireland.
