MINGORA: Member National Assembly Salimur Rehman on Thursday asked the government to retrieve the Pakistan Study textbooks stuffed with propaganda against politicians and replace them with propaganda-free copies.
Speaking at a press conference here, MNA Salimur Rehman said that the Pakistan Study books for intermediate level had irrelevant materials about corruption, local government and politicians. “It seems that the students are being brainwashed systematically,” he said.
He said the 2002-03 period had been repeatedly mentioned in the book which manifest the mentality of the officials at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board.
The legislator announced moving courts against the board for spreading propaganda against politicians and political parties.
