PESHAWAR: At least 74 suspected persons were arrested in search operation launched in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.
The police claimed to have arrested 32 suspected persons including three proclaimed offenders (POs) and seized arms and narcotics during search and strike operation here on Thursday.
A press release stated that the police raided the dens of the criminals in the limits of City, Cantonment police stations and Rural Circle.
The police arrested 32 suspects and three POs and recovered Kalashnikov, rifle, three guns, 13 pistols and bottles of liquor, two kilograms of hashish from their possession.
Our correspondent adds from Kohat: The law enforcement agencies arrested 27 suspected persons during a search operation carried out at the Oblan refugee camp, official sources said on Thursday.
They said that the law enforcement agencies conducted the search operation at the Afghan refugee camp in Oblan and recovered arms during the search.
The officials also arrested 27 suspected persons, all of them Afghan nationals.
