Families enjoy delicious Chinese cuisines at food festival

PESHAWAR: Families and guests enjoyed delicious Chinese cuisines as the three-day Chinese food festival began at the lone five star hotel of the provincial capital on Friday.
A variety of Chinese dishes including chef special soap, season fried chicken, beef chilies clung, Tempura F-Fish, steam rice, stir fried vegetable, American Chospcisy, Kind Po chicken, sea food rice, salad bar and dessert bar were main items of the food festival.
Opening the festival General Manager Shehryar Mirza said Chinese food carried an interesting history as Chinese believed that food preparation was not only a craft but an art and these food preparations include different techniques.
He added that special care of taste, health and hygiene was taken while preparing the eight combinations of Chinese cuisines.Shehryar Mirza said the hotel arranged quality events for the people of the provincial capital. He said the festival would provide quality entertainment to the fun-starved people of the province.
He said the event was aimed at providing entertainment and change of taste as the hotel focused special attention on services and products without compromising the quality of food.Shehryar Mirza said foods prepared at the hotel were hygienic and well-cooked and the Chinese food festival was arranged owing to the demand of the people of the city.
A number of guests and families enjoyed the delicious dishes on the first day of the festival. The guests included men, women and children including those from media. Guests from other parts of the country also enjoyed the dishes.
Dr Fauzia from Islamabad remarked the hotel management deserved appreciation for arranging such a healthy event. Lubna, a businesswoman also lauded the event and said in these depressing times such activities were like breath of fresh air.
