PESHAWAR: The five-day training in writing skills at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University (SBBWU) concluded here on Tuesday. SBBWU Vice-chancellor Prof Dr Razia Sultana was the chief guest at the concluding ceremony.
The indigenous on-campus training to improve the writing skills of university officials was organised by SBBWU under its “Modern University Governance Programme” in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad. Ms. Naintara, planning and development officer of the university supervised the event.
Dr. Bushra Hamid of the Institute of Management Studies, University of Peshawar and Ms Henna Karamat of the Department of English, SBBWU, were the resource persons at the training.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Razia lauded the HEC for its collaboration to impart the useful training to the university’s administrative staff. She expressed her optimism that HEC would continue similar collaboration with the SBBWU in future.
She said that after the training, the participants would be able to properly utilise their skills, while performing official duties and it would help improve their efficiency.Later, certificates were distributed among the participants.
