KARAK: The first Board of Studies (BoS) of the newly established Department of Bio-Informatics of the Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak on Monday approved the scheme of studies for the BS (Honour).
Head of the department Dr Inamul Haq in his welcome address said that the university achieved another milestone in its short history by launching the BS (Honour) programme in Bio-Informatics.
He said the programme would provide an opportunity to the students to get education of such a modern discipline of science in one of the underprivileged district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Dr Inamul Haq appreciated the contributions of the members of the BoS for designing the scheme of studies for the university. The members of the BoS approved the courses with some amendments and expressed satisfaction over the performance of the faculty and management of the university.
