PESHAWAR: The University of Peshawar syndicate has approved appointment of 16 professors, 14 associate professor, 45 assistant professors and 31 lecturers.
The participants also approved appointment of a deputy registrar and a deputy librarian at the 418th meeting of the syndicate on Saturday. It also gave approval to the proceedings of the academic council, affiliations and the study leave committee. The meeting also accorded premature increment for employees of the university from the BPS-2 to 4. The meeting was attended by secretaries, Khyber Medical University (KMU) Vice-Chancellor Dr Hafizullah, HEC’s Dr Mansoor Akbar Kundi, while Registrar Dr Syed Fazli Hadi acted as secretary.
