Federal Government Educational Institutions (FGEI-Cantt/Garrison) Director Brigadier Raheel Ashraf distributed medals, certificate and cash prizes among the high achievers of Primary & Middle Standard Scholarship Examination 2011, at a ceremony, held here, says a press release.
The chief guest of the ceremony Brigadier Raheel Ashraf also gave away trophies to the heads of schools, which showed good results.
In Primary Standard Examination, Ayesha Nawaz of FG Girls High School, Sanjwal Cantt, got first position with 559 marks, Samman Zahra of FG Public High School, Taxila Cantt got second position with 557 marks, Rana Asif Assad Abbas of FG Primary School no. 10 (1st Shift), Wah Cantt, got third position with 556 marks, Marib Ali of FG Public High School, Taxila Cantt, got fourth position with 555 marks and Ayesha Masood of FG Girls High School, Sanjwal Cantt got fifth position with 542 marks, out of 600 total marks.
Over all the FG Primary School no. 10 (1st Shift), Wah Cantt, got first position in Primary Standard Scholarship examination.
In Middle Standard Examination, Abdul Wasay Ikhlaq of FG Boys Public High School, Wah Cantt got first position with 639 marks, Muhammad Ahmed Raza of FG Boys Public High School, Wah Cantt and Sundas Arif Khan of FG Girls Public Secondary School, Wah Cantt, each got second position with 636 marks, Abdul Hannan of FG Boys High School no.7, Wah Cantt got third position with 634 marks, Noor-ul-Ain Nadeem of FG Girls Public Secondary School, Abid Majeed Road, Rawalpindi, got fourth position with 633 marks, Jamshaid Afzal of FG Boys High School no. 2, Multan Cantt and Aiman Wahab Rao of FG Girls Public School, Multan Cantt, each got fifth position with 632 marks out of 700 total marks.
Over all the FG Girls Public School Multan Cantt, got first position in Middle Standard Scholarship examination.
In Middle Standard Scholarship examination 3135 candidates passed out of 3755, with 83.48 percent result. In Primary Standard examination 3189 candidates passed out of 3653, with 87.29 percent result.
As many as 485 students of Middle Standard were awarded cash scholarship of Rs600 each for two years and 300 students of primary standard were awarded cash scholarship of Rs400 each for three years.
