When ‘The News’ contacted the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) senior officer deployed at the Tariqabad Grid Station, Muhammad Nadeem, he said that the loadshedding schedule has been issued by the high-ups. “However, we would send this message to the high-ups and request to change the loadshedding schedule in the morning time,” he assured.
Talking to ‘The News,’ Asma Batool, a resident of Saleha Street at Defence Road, said that she could not iron uniforms of her children due to the schedule of electricity loadshedding . "I could not prepare breakfast for them as well," she denounced.
Nazli Anjum, another housewife, said that the high-ups should think before setting the loadshedding schedule. They should know that all children go to schools in the morning and from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. all remain busy.
Misba Faisal, a housewife said although she had ironed the uniforms of her kids a night before, but had to use emergency lights when her kids went to washroom and while preparing breakfast in kitchen, she added.
