The operation against food outlets lacking cleanliness arrangements would continue and their business would be closed if they do not meet the required standard, said Assistant Commissioner Qurat-ul-Ain.
Talking to APP here on Sunday, she said strict action would be taken against the violators, adding that there was no place for those indulging in the sale of substandard food items and minting money.
She said no one would be allowed to play with the people's health. Qurat-ul-Ain said a number of famous food outlets and hotels were closed due to unhygienic conditions and the operation would continue without any discrimination.
The Ministry of Health officials on Saturday raided food outlets not meeting cleanliness standards and sealed six such outlets in Commercial Market and Cantonment areas.
