Work on IIU hostels in final stages

With work on them entering final stage, the three hostels of International Islamic University (IIU) will be open to female students soon.
This was disclosed by IIU President Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh during a visit to new hostel blocks.
The relevant staff members told Dr. Al-Draiweesh that final work was underway on the hostel buildings, which would be offered to female students for accommodation in near future.
They said each hostel had the capacity to accommodate more than 300 students.
While showing satisfaction with the work, the IIU president ordered its speedy completion.
He vowed that the university would remain keen and committed to facilitating its female students.
The IIU president shed light on the importance of female education and instructed that issues of female students be solved on priority basis.
IIU Director General AF&P Khalid Mehmood Raja, officials of Project and Planning, Provosts (male & female) and staff members of female campus were also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, in connection with Independence Day of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dawah Centre for Women (DCW), International Islamic University Islamabad (IIU) organized a lecture on 'Pakistan Meri Pehchan'.
