Rawalpindi: Punjab Minister for Minerals Ch Sher Ali Khan Monday directed the authorities to ensure that fixed prices of items are displayed in shops at Ramazan Bazaars.
During a visit to Ramazan Bazaar, he said that the promise of providing relief to the citizens through Sasta Bazaars made by the government would be fulfilled and every effort would be made to provide maximum relief to the citizens.
He along with Assistant Commissioner City Qurat Ul Ain Malik and town municipal officials visited Sasta Ramazan Bazaar set up at Dhoke Hassu and Shamsabad.
The provincial minister checked the prices of commodities of daily use items and inquired from consumers about the prices, availability and quality of essential items.
He said that strict action in accordance with the law would be taken against profiteers by conducting regular raids in the Bazaar.
