Islamabad: The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has started computerising the record of manual driving licences issued from 1976 to 2000.
The “Old Record Feeding System” was formally inaugurated by DIG (Security) Sultan Azam Temuri Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Temuri appreciated the efforts of ITP personnel, who were working round the clock to computerize the data of manual licenses.
He also appreciated the SSP (Traffic) Malik Matloob over his innovative steps to make ITP force further efficient and improve its performance.
SSP (Traffic) Malik Matloob also acknowledged his efforts for attaining all the set objectives including corruption free and friendly force as its pioneer head.
The SSP (Traffic) said that performance of this force would be further improved with focus on quality service and safe road environment in the capital.
