Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has planned to plant 300,000 saplings in the Federal Capital during the monsoon season, said Deputy Director General Environment, Muhammad Irfan.
Talking to APP on Monday, he said, the objective behind the tree plantation drive is to make the city clean, green and beautiful.
He said the CDA environment department will start the drive in the Margalla hills and other areas of the federal capital to make the city beautiful and clean. Muhammad Irfan informed that CDA has arranged several meetings during which it has been decided to plant 300,000 different kinds of saplings.
