The CAS annual award ceremony of Fazaia Schools and Colleges was held at Aftab Auditorium, Fazaia Inter College, Islamabad here on Tuesday. Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, was the chief guest on the occasion. The chief guest awarded merit certificates, cash prizes, medals and trophies to students, headmistresses and principals in recognition of their outstanding performance in academic pursuits.
While addressing the audience, the chief guest expressed his satisfaction over the steps taken by the PAF Training Branch to improve the quality of education and impart the spirit of compassion at Fazaia institutions. He urged the teachers to realise their role as mentors of the youth and builders of the nation. He also advised the students that they must cash upon their immense potential and extraordinary qualities to set higher educational goals for themselves. Besides, felicitating the prize winners, the Chief Guest also appreciated the efforts being put in by all concerned to improve the infrastructure and other facilities at Fazaia schools and colleges.
Earlier, on his arrival, the air chief was received by Air Vice Marshal Farooq Habib, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Training). The award ceremony was followed by a colourful talent show presented by students from various Fazaia Colleges of Pakistan Air Force.
