The investiture ceremony of the newly elected students’ Council was held in CDA Model School.
Ghyuor Hussain, director of National Library was the chief guest and administered the oath on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, he said co-curricular activities along with academics play a vital role in building the personality of students.
He appreciated the outstanding academic record of CDA Model School and greeted the newly elected president and members of Students’ Council.
He expressed his hope that the elected Students’ Council would work for the promotion of academics and co-curricular activities to maintain outstanding record of the school.
He lauded the performance of principal and teachers for maintaining high standard in education. Students’ Council president Tooba Waheed said that her team would work for the betterment of CDA Model School with zeal and devotion. School children performed parade, band and a colourful tableau. Principal Tehseen Farah presented souvenir to the chief guest.
