Islamabad: The National Book Foundation (NBF) has published an English book titled ‘Writing of Dissertation/Thesis (MA, MPhil & PhD)’ containing 337 pages with a price of Rs220. The members of NBF’s Readers Club may have this book at 55% discount for Rs99 only, says a press release.
It has been written by Professor Dr. Muhammad Rashid, who is at present working with the Preston University as dean of the Faculty of Education and Doctoral Programme.
The author did Diploma in Education with specialisation in Distance Education from Institute of Education, University of London. He did MEd and PhD in the specialisation of Distance Education and Educational Technology from the University of Wales, UK. He did MA (History), LLB from University of Punjab, and MPhil (History) from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. The author has 33-year experience of Distance and Non-Formal Education at Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad.
The 8th edition of author’s significant and a unique book ‘Aasaan Gharelu Ilaaj’ has also been published by NBF in 2014. The book ‘Writing of Dissertation/Thesis’ is written for the students who are following courses in which a Dissertation or Thesis is a compulsory part or examination requirement in any Institution. Hopefully this book is very useful in every field of research particularly in education for the researchers of Mphil and PhD level. The author has completed this important book in highly professional manner dividing the book in 14 chapters under different topics.
