BMI authorised IB World School

The Beaconhouse Margalla Campus has been authorised by the International Baccalaureate (IB) to offer the Diploma Programme (DP) and is now an IB World School, says a press release.
The BMI-IB team, led by BMI Principal Cdre (r) Asif Majeed Butt and Diploma Programme Manager Bushra Jamal, have been working towards the authorisation
with support from Execu-
tive Director North Nassir Kasuri, School Group Office III Head Ayesha Shabbir, IB Specialist Ms Minka and SGOIII Academic Head Ms Rahat Agha.
The visiting team assessed the school through meetings with students, parents, teachers and the pedagogical team as well as classroom observations.
The school was commended for its commitment to promoting a culture of inquiry, development of a professional learning community andfor policies and procedures that reflect the requirements of the programme.
