Human rights workshop ends

The Ministry of Law, Justice and Human Rights organised a two-day consultative workshop on ‘Public Awareness on Human Rights’ here on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The overall objective of the workshop was to develop Information, Education & Communication (IEC) Material for public awareness programme on promotion and protection of human rights. More than 50 participants from government departments, civil society organizations, media agencies, academia, and lawyers community attended the workshop and shared their comments and recommendations.
The workshop commenced with a welcome address from Muhammad Arshad, Director General, Ministry of Law, Justice and Human Rights.
