The Goethe-Institute invited delegates from high schools and education departments, for the second International Principals Conference for Partner Schools in south and southeast Asia, held from January 18 to 19, in Bangkok (Thailand), says a press release.


The two-day conference was a part of the German initiative ‘Schools: Partners for the Future’ (PASCH). The delegates met 130 high officials and principals from Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Australia and Germany.


The Bangkok convention focused on career prospects for graduates in German. German companies and firms have been invited to the conference, to present the various career and development possibilities in German companies. The international conference was a response to the increasingly globalised efforts in education which aim at the preparation of students for the international job market.


The Roots International Schools (RIS), Chief Executive Officer Walid Mushtaq accompanied by Kulsoom Tanvir, head of Roots Foreign Languages Department participated in the conference. This conference has provided opportunities for the delegations, to network with other high officials in south and southeast Asia and thereby laying the foundations for international collaborations which prepare students for the challenges in a globalised world.


RIS CEO Walid Mushtaq emphasised much on all aspects of conference focusing towards the core objectives of Goethe. Initiative schools: partners for the future - the state of arts, foreign languages - opportunities for graduates, shaping the future with vocational education, opportunities and challenges, vocational opportunities and challenges, market place: school projects as joint ventures vocational opportunities and schools.


Walid Mushtaq promotes the enriched learning about global diversification, international market challenges, the opportunities to capture global education markets with the help of bilateral collaborations, joint ventures and mergers for further polishing and harnessing the upcoming Educationist including all the stakeholders, as per the needs of latest updated standards of globalized world.
