LAHORE
Dozens of eunuchs on Saturday staged a protest demonstration outside the Punjab Assembly against the alleged discriminatory treatment being meted out to them in the country. The protest organised by Khawaja Sara Society called for immediate end to the discriminatory and humiliating attitude by members from all other segments of society as well as people in the power corridors. They demanded treatment on the basis of equality and called for an end to constant disrespect shown to them in the country. The society also demanded the PML-N government take notice and take all possible measures for the redress of their grievances.
