Post Graduate Medical Institute/Lahore General Hospital (PGMI/LGH) Principal Prof Khalid Mahmood has said that, on the directions of Chief Minister Punjab, medical team of Lahore General Hospital is working day and night to serve those who were affected by earthquake in KP.
The medical team will remain in KPK till the accomplishment of the mission. It is our national duty to help earthquake affected people.
He expressed these views during the inaugural function of the new mammography machine and distribution of certificates among doctors of Department of Psychiatry, according to a handout issued on Tuesday. Prof Altaf Qadir, MS Dr. Niaz Ahmed, Chief Radiologist Dr. Tanveer Zubairy and a large number of doctors attended the ceremony.
Prof Khalid Mahmood said that a new mammography machine has been installed at the LGH where deserving patients suffering from breast cancer would be given facility of free testing. He said that a comprehensive mechanism has been evolved to ensure high standard medical facilities to patients.
