HAFIZABAD: A girl was abducted and gang-raped here on Sunday. Sanaullah of Mohallah Baban Bokhari reported to police that his sister Noreen Bibi went to the shrine of Baban Shah Bokhari from where Umer Daraz, Ahsan, Ehtesham and Sikandar allegedly abducted her. The accused took her to a petrol pump where they raped her. Police have registered a case after arresting three accused Umer Daraz, Ahsan and Sikandar and started investigation. GIRL MURDERED: A 25-year-old girl was murdered here on Sunday. Unidentified people gunned down the girl and threw her body on a bridge of motorway near Mian Raheeman village. Kaleke Mandi police have taken the body into custody and started investigation. MOOT: Paigham-e-Imam Hussain (AS) conference will be held at Doaba on Muharram 9. Peer Syed Abdul Ghafoor Shah will preside over the conference.
