Ex-PPP MPA, others join PTI

Pakistan Peoples Party former MPA Chaudhry Mohammad Shabbir as well as 25 leaders belonging to the PPP and the PML-N have announced joining the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
The Shia Qaumi Karkaz Khawajgaan has also announced support to the PTI for the by-election. PPP’s former MPA Chaudhry Shabbir, PML-N’s Lahore leaders Rana Ijaz, Muhammad Ismail Khan, Khalid Raza Khan, Hamid Raza Gillani, Khalid Shaheen, Qazi Pervaiz, Qazi Nasir, Naeem Shad advocate, Arif Chaudhary, Babar Chaudhary, Sheikh Azhar, Shafqat Ahmad Butt, Waqar Shah, Nasir Chinioti, PPP’s Dr Moeen, Muhammad Rasheed, Azmat Sultan, Nabeel Abbasi, Shahid Gul, Aftab Gul, Sultan Mujahid, Minhas, Hamza Gul, Ahmad and Saadat Ali announced joining the party during a meeting with PTI Punjab organiser Chaudhary Mohammad Sarwar, Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed and MPA Mian Aslam Iqbal on Saturday.
They expressed their confidence in PTI chief Imran Khan At the joining ceremony on Saturday, PTI Punjab organiser Chaudhary Mohammad Sarwar said party chief Imran Khan would address a gathering in Lahore on Sunday. He said the PTI would prove that Lahore is now its stronghold . He said the rulers would not be able to win the by-election and face defeat. He said the PML-N and PPP were becoming history and the future belonged to the PTI.
