A widow has appealed to Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to direct Faisalabad CPO to register cases against five land grabbers who have deprived her of her commercial and residential properties. Addressing a press conference at Lahore Press Club on Wednesday, Muqadas Bibi, wife of late Syed Razi Abbas Shah of 241-B D Ground Peoples Colony No 1 Faisalabad, accused Allah Ditta, Gulfam Bajwa, Aqdas Bajwa and Rana Tallat of grabbing her two properties through fraud. She said that the accused had got her signatures on forged documents and grabbed her property. She alleged that the land grabbers were giving her and her children life threats and warned her that they would kill her family if she lodged any complaint against them.
KIDNAPPERS: Local traders appealed to Punjab Chief Minister to direct the Qila Gujar Singh police to round up the kidnappers who had kidnapped one Malik Abdul Talib. Addressing a press conference at Lahore Press Club, local trader Amir Butt said that accused Sheikh Munir, who happened to be a brother-in-law of victim Malik Abdul Talib of 38 Abbot Road Lahore, along with four accomplices including Munir alias Billa had kidnapped Talib and took him to Sheikhupura where he was kept for 22 days. Later, two gunmen Bilal and Zuabir took him to Lahore where his brother-in-law Sheikh Munir, Imran, Iftikhar Patwari and Waqas got his forced signatures on blank papers. Later, they dispatched him to Kot Addu Gujrat where he had been detained for four months. Meanwhile, Talib escaped from Kot Addu and came to the place of Amir Butt on August 31, 2015.
Amir Butt demanded of the Punjab Chief Minister to direct the police to record the statement of the victim and round up the kidnappers without any further delay.
INJURED: Three people received injuries when roof of a dilapidated house collapsed at Tajpura Phattak.
Upon being informed, rescuers rushed the spot, retrieved three boys including two minors from debris and rushed them to a local hospital where their condition was said to be out of danger.
