The Jinnah Hospital Lahore administration has invited philanthropist groups to take over different departments for up-gradation as a group has recently upgraded Paediatric Ward of Jinnah Hospital, Lahore.
Talking to The News here on Wednesday, Allama Iqbal Medical College/Jinnah Hospital, Lahore, Principal, Prof Dr Mahmood Shaukat informed that Allama Iqbal Medical College/Jinnah Hospital Lahore has started a policy to hand over departments to philanthropist groups, instead of accepting cash, for up-gradation, renovation and procurement of equipment to ensure transparency of the donations.
In this regard, he said that Mr Abdullah had renovated Paediatric Ward and also provided required equipment to fill the gaps in proper functioning of the department.
He thanked Mr. Abdullah and Mr. Rab Nawaz for their generous support in up-gradation of the ward, which would improve the quality of services to the patients in the hospital, and appealed to the philanthropists to come forward and help to upgrade different departments in the hospital.
