Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) Chairman Irfan Qaiser Shaikh has said that latest courses will provide job opportunities easily to the Tevta pass-outs in local and foreign industry. Tevta is also focusing to revise/update its present curricula being offered in its institutes. The purpose of revision of curricula is to provide latest techniques to its trainees as per requirement of industry.
Tevta has revised three years DAE in Instrument Technology and DAE in Printing & Graphic Arts Technology courses. These courses have been revised/updated after special gap analysis study.
He was addressing a meeting of Academics Department at Tevta Secretariat on Wednesday, which was attended by Chief Operating Officer Jawwad Ahmed Qureshi, Abdul Qayyum, Azhar Iqbal Shad, Hamid Ghani Anjum, Akhtar Abbas Bharwana, Sarfraz Anwar and others.
Irfan Qaiser Shaikh said that new/revised subjects such as process variable measurements and safety practice subjects in 2nd year while Advance Control Systems, Analytical Instruments and Boiler Instrumentation Automation subject in 3rd year have been included in three years DAE Instrument Technology course. Similarly, new/revised subjects Digital Plate Making, Quality assurance and Graphic Reproduction in 2nd year while Flexo-Graphic printing, Estimation for Printing and Entrepreneurship has been incorporated in three years Printing & Graphic Arts Technology course. The revision of both courses have been notified which will be implemented from current academic session.
Chairperson Tevta further said that Tevta was also introducing new and revised courses of our institutes according to the modern demands which were essential for the provision of job opportunities to pass-outs. Tevta will also train its teachers as per latest courses, he concluded.
