Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has started distributing 50,000 nominated vouchers to its 450 school partners associated under Education Voucher Scheme (EVS) in the southern districts of Punjab.
A PEF spokesman said special desk had been set up at PEF regional office in Multan under the supervision of Regional Director Shafiq Ahmad to distribute vouchers to school partners.
For this purpose, schedule of vouchers’ distribution has been uploaded on PEF official website for the convenience of partners from the districts of Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Rajanpur, DG Khan, Khanewal, Lodhran, Layyah, Multan, Muzaffargarh, and Rahimyar Khan.
Vouchers’ distribution to Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur and Rajanpur districts has already been completed.
The spokesman also said the new vouchers would help to arrange free schooling of many deserving students in these districts through PEF partner schools.
This will help to eradicate illiteracy and encourage parents to send their kids to schools. Vouchers’ distribution will be completed by June 18, concluded the spokesman.
