LAHORE
A 32-year-old woman was shot dead in Shadbagh area over pursuing a murder case on Saturday.
According to police, Fehmida Masih, daughter of Sadiq Masih of Esanagar, Shadbagh was shot dead by accused Mubashar Philips, Irfan Bholla, Vicky Pervez and Bholla.
The motive behind the killing was stated to be an FIR No 84/2015 registered against them in Shadbagh police station under Section 302 PPC.
Police shifted the body to morgue for an autopsy.
Accident claims life: A 32-year-old man was killed by a speeding car in Wahdat Colony on Saturday. The victim, identified as Mohammad Jamil, was on his way on a bike when a rashly driven car ran over him. As a result, he received serious injuries. The car driver escaped from the scene.
The injured was rushed to a local hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
Two found dead: Two persons were found dead in different parts of the city on Saturday.
A 45-year-old man was recovered dead from the Bird Market Bhatti Gate and a 50-year-old man was found dead in the limits of Old Anwarkali police station.
Police claimed that both men, yet to be identified, were addicts who might have died of excessive use of drugs. Police shifted the bodies to morgue for autopsy to ascertain the cause of deaths.
