LAHORE
A 19-year-old conductor of a truck died after coming under the wheels of his vehicle near Data Darbar on Friday.
He was identified as Adnan, a resident of Mauza Toba Kamalia. Police said Adnan was standing behind the truck and was helping the driver in parking when the driver reversed the vehicle over him, resulting into his instant death. Police arrested the truck driver Talib Hussain.
ACCIDENTS: At least 613 road traffic accidents were reported in Rescue 1122’s Provincial Monitoring Cell in all 36 districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours; in which six lives were lost and 496 serious injured were shifted to different hospitals of relevant district.
