PAT rally against Sana

LAHORE
Hundreds of Pakistan Awami Tehreek workers staged a sit-in near the Governor’s House Friday evening to protest against the reappointment of Rana Sanaullah as the provincial law minister whom the PAT leadership accuses of ordering the Model Town killings.
The protesters raised slogans after they were stopped by police at a distance from the Governor’s House where the oath-taking of Rana Sana and Aisha Ghaus Pasha was taking place. The protesters, led by PAT secretary general Khurram Nawaz Gandapur and others had marched from China Chowk towards the Governor’s House after Friday prayers but they were first stopped at two places.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur while addressing the workers alleged that the reappointed minister was the mastermind of the Model Town tragedy.
