LAHORE
A very hot and dry weather is expected in the provincial metropolis on Thursday (today) with the temperature measuring in high forties.
A fresh westerly wave is expected to affect western and upper parts of the country from Thursday (evening/night). Seasonal low lies over Balochistan and adjoining areas.
In the next 24 hours, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, light rain-thundershower with dust-storm may occur at few places in Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Sukkur, Larkana, Bahawalpur, Malakand divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The maximum temperature in the provincial metropolis on Wednesday was 42 degree Celsius while the minimum was 24. The maximum in the country was 48 degrees at Shaheed Benazirabad. The only place where it rained was five mm at Skardu.
