Ahmed Saeed Awan, former federal minister, died of cardiac arrest on Thursday.
He was elected MNA in 1988 from Faisalabad and held important offices in different PPP eras. His burial will be held in Bhakkar on Friday (today). PPP leaders expressed condolence over his death.
APP adds: Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid expressed heartfelt condolence over the sad demise of Ahmed Saeed Awan. In a message, the minister prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.
