Punjab Highways Police (PHP) arrested 32 outlaws and helped 5,182 travellers.
Proclaimed offender Tausif Shah and three absconders Hussain Bakhsh, Abid Hussain and Asghar Ali were arrested. PHP arrested 14 people and recovered 1,350 grams of charas and 71-litre liquor from their possession. Six people were arrested and a riffle, a gun of 12 bore, three pistols and 37 bullets were recovered. PHP arrested four people with stolen timber worth Rs 1, 45,000 from their possession. Four people were arrested on charges of using liquor. PHP handed over four missing children to their families.
