PUNJAB Education Foundation has devised a strategy to encourage the corporate sector to use their corporate social responsibility (CSR) principles in the field of education. The purpose is to open the doors of education to more deserving students. According to a handout issued here Sunday, under this programme, awareness sessions was held in Bhakkar and Multan districts to motivate the eligible PEF alumni to apply for LUMS national outreach programme (NOP). In the next phase, a special lecture session was held at a PEF partner school in Sargodha on Sunday.
The lecture was attended by a large number of alumni students who came from different parts of the district. LUMS senior officer marketing Sharjeel Moazzam delivered a lecture on national outreach programme (NOP), which is launched for intelligent but deserving students to study free-of-cost at LUMS.
PEF officers namely Qindeel Hussain and Humaira Shahzadi, besides teachers and school principals, were also present on the occasion.
