A patrolling officer of traffic police chased fleeing robbers and recovered a motorbike of a citizen on Saturday near Shaukat Khanam Chowk.
CTO Tayyab Hafeez Cheema awarded cash and a commendatory certificate to the patrolling officer. Patrolling officer Makdoom was on his duty near Shaukat Khanam Chowck when he saw two men fleeing after stealing a motorcycle from a citizen. The warden followed the robbers on his motorbike. The robbers, after seeing the warden coming after him, left the motorbike and fled. He informed his officers and escorted the complainant Naeem along with his bike to Nawaz police station.
On this brave act, the CTO announced a cash prize of Rs5,000 and a commendatory certificate for the warden.
