Cocaine, hashish seized

The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) Sindh seized 279 kilograms of hashish, 2.8 kilograms of Xanax tablets and 525 grams of cocaine, and arrested four people in crackdowns and airport security checks on Monday.
According to its spokesperson, after raids at different areas of Karachi and Hyderabad, the force recovered 231 kilograms of hashish and also detained one alleged offender.
In Sohrab Goth area, the ANF intercepted a Suzuki Cultus near Al-Asif Square and, during its search, 48 kilograms of hashish was recovered. The drugs were hidden in a secret cavity of the vehicle. The driver was arrested on the spot.
Moreover, the ANF Sindh interrogated two passengers at the Jinnah International Airport who were travelling from Karachi to Abu Dhabi and from Dubai to Karachi, respectively. During their searches, 2.8 kilograms of Xanax tablets and 525 grams of cocaine were recovered.
