Two dead, three injured in cylinder blast

At least two people were killed while three others were injured in a gas cylinder blast in a workshop, within the jurisdiction of the Bin Qasim police station, on Friday.
Twenty-five-year-olds Naveed and Javed died, while three unidentified men were injured when a gas cylinder exploded in a workshop they were employed at.
According to SDPO Bin Qasim police station, the deceased Naveed was a junk dealer.
The bodies were shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for post-mortem examination.
Two die in mishaps
Two people were killed and two others were injured in two different incidents on Friday.
Sarfaraz, 20, his brother Shah Nawaz, 28, and his friend Inam, 25, were injured after their motorcycle was struck by a vehicle near the Singer Chowrangi in the Korangi Industrial Area police limits.
The injured were rushed to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre in critical conditions.
However, Sarfaraz breathed his last on the way to the hospital.
Ghaffar, 45, died from electrocution in his residence situated in the Mawach Goth, the Ittehad Town police jurisdiction. He was reportedly repairing a water pump.
Man, woman murdered
Two people, including a woman, were murdered in two different places on Friday.
The hanged body of 20-year-old Huma, wife of Danish, was found in her residence in Kando Goth in the North Nazimabad police limits.
After being called to the house by a neighbour, police moved the body to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities.
A medico-legal officer said she had been brutally tortured with a weapon.
According to the police, her husband Danish had killed her after a domestic quarrel. Danish remains at large.
In the Orangi Town police jurisdiction, the body of Feroz, 35, was found in his house.
Police took the body to the Qatar Hospital for a post-mortem, and said the man's wife and her paramour had killed him. Both the suspects are on the run.
