The suspect who shot and injured a traffic warden in North Nazimabad earlier this week was sent on a six-day physical remand by an anti-terrorism court on Thursday.
Mohammed Junaid alias Bilal alias Bablu, a resident of New Karachi and a robber wanted in several cases, was injured in an encounter with a traffic policeman, Jumma Khan, on Tuesday night near the Matric board office in North Nazimabad.
After the encounter, he had fled with his accomplice and later arrived to get his wounded shoulder treated at the Civil Hospital Karachi from where he was arrested by the police.
