During an open court session on Tuesday, the administrator Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) said that for the time being the civic body was unable to hire fresh staffers due to shortage of financial resources.
However, he maintained that his doors were always open for citizens and their complaints. Sajjad Hussain Abbasi assured the people under his supervision the KMC would continue to put into action all necessary measures which were in the larger interest of the metropolis. “Besides cleansing streets, flyovers and bridges, maximum tree plantation would be ensured in a bid to make the city more salubrious and appealing,” he said.
Abbasi also instructed the officers to ensure mutual coordination among the departments to ensure desired outcome.
